This sweet baby girl came into the studio for her newborn session, and I absolutely loved the colors her parents chose for her—light pink, dark pink, and purple. They came together so beautifully and gave the whole session such a soft, feminine feel.
Her parents and I communicated through Google Translate throughout the session, which occasionally made things a little interesting when we were trying to make sure we understood each other correctly. But despite the occasional translation hiccup, everything came together wonderfully!
We started with some of the more intricate table poses—the ones that require a particularly sleepy baby—and she did such an amazing job. She slept so soundly that we were able to get all of the poses I was hoping for. I was especially excited about a pretty little crown I had found for her. It was delicate and simple, and it looked absolutely perfect on her.
After we finished the table poses, we moved on to some wrapped prop setups. She even decided to give us a few adorable little smirks and a sweet smile along the way. Those unexpected little expressions are always fun to catch!
We finished the session with family portraits on a simple white backdrop. We captured pictures of Mom and baby, Dad and baby, and the three of them together. I love how these turned out. The simplicity of the white backdrop kept the focus right where it belonged—on this beautiful new little family.
This session was such a good reminder that sometimes everything just falls into place. A sleepy baby, beautiful colors, a few sweet smiles, and lots of images for this family to remember these first precious days by. 💕
