Santaquin Newborn Photographer | In-home Newborn Session


It’s been a little while since this session, but I couldn’t not share these images — they turned out so incredibly sweet! For this newborn session, I brought my studio right into this little babe’s home, which is always such a great option, especially when there’s an active toddler involved.


In-home newborn sessions work beautifully for families with older siblings. We were able to grab big brother quickly for the photos we needed, and then he was free to go play and keep his normal routine at home — which makes the whole experience much more relaxed for everyone.


Mom chose soft pinks and neutral tones for her color palette, and it all came together so perfectly. Little brother was understandably a bit tricky to keep still (as most toddlers are!), so we tried a few different approaches. That’s just part of photographing a toddler and a newborn together, and in the end, we captured some truly sweet moments that Mom was so happy with.


We started with sibling and family photos before moving on to baby-only images. Baby girl did amazing and slept through most of the session. She even gave us a few adorable smiles and stuck her tongue out — something Mom said was very typical of her, and I’m so glad I was able to capture it on camera!
